The Creation of the LEGO Donmar Warehouse

I am often asked, Lego Loki? How did you build the beautiful LEGO Donmar Warehouse in such a short amount of time? Well mortals, I shall explain…

DSC01563All good Lego construction projects begin with this. A pile of bricks in their raw state.

The first task was to create a ladder. Sadly as I did not posses enough black bricks, they later had to be painted with acrylic paint.

A base was selected, which was too large and was later cut down, and construction of the side walls and stage began.

Construction of the circle levels began, and then were removed to allow the construction of the back wall.

The base was painted, the ladder added, and construction of the grey wall began while I awaited of the arrival of my red bricks.

Upon arrival of the red bricks, the grey wall was removed, the lower level red wall was built, and the circle levels were added once more, with supporting pillars and back walls.

Our audience begins to arrive!

Sadly due to the bench seating of the Lego Donmar our patrons had to have their arms removed so that could sit next to each other comfortably.

The graffiti on the back walls was added using acrylic paint.

And we were ready in time for our opening night!
