MCU Filming Location: The Rivoli Ballroom, as featured in Avengers: Age Of Ultron
Ever since the release of Avengers: Age of Ultron there has been one MCU filming location that I have longed to visit, but for four years it eluded me, even though I am a frequent visitor to London, and that is the Rivoli Ballroom, which was the setting for Captain America’s vision of Peggy Carter.
Finally in 2019 I was able to visit this stunning location, and it did not disappoint!
The Rivoli is the only intact 1950’s ballroom in London, and with it’s distinctive chandeliers and lanterns it is easily one of the most unchanged MCU locations from its screen appearance.
“The war is over, Steve. We can go home. Imagine it.”
The night I attended at the Rivoli Ballroom was Jacky Jukebox, and I found it to be a most wonderful and very inclusive evening, where I was made to feel most welcome, even though I was a newcomer. I can highly recommend a trip to The Rivoli for a most wonderfully unique experience, as it was a magical night.
TRAVEL
The Rivoli Ballroom is directly opposite Crofton Park train station, and is easily accessible from central London via the Sevenoaks train which runs every 30 minutes from Blackfriars station.
